Young journalist dies of corona infection in Jaffna

A journalist in Jaffna died of a corona infection today Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Pragas Gnanapragasam, 26, of Chavakachcheri. He has been working as an independent journalist.

He is a differently abled person, and  was tested positive for COVID yesterday. He was receiving treatment at home, admitted to hospital the Chavakachcheri Base Hospital due to sudden breathing difficulties.

Many people are mourning the death of this young journalist who struggled in life with self-confidence and performed very well.
