10 Indian Fishermen arrested in Delft: Remanded till 21st

10 Indian fishermen who transgressed into Delft seas and engaged in fishing were arrested in the night of day before yesterday by the Sri Lanka Navy. They were remanded by the Kayts court till 21st of this month.

The Navy men arrested the Indian fishermen while they had transgressed into seas off Delft and fishing in the area along with their boat and  fishing equipment and handed them over to the officials of the Fisheries and Aquatic resources Department.

All ten of them were produced in the Kayts Magistrate yesterday by the officials of the Fisheries and Aquatic resources Department, and the Magistrate ordered them to be remanded till 21st
