11,319 families waiting for resettlement in Jaffna District

The statistics of Jaffna District statistics show that, 11,319 families are waiting for re-settlement. As per data of Divisional Secretariats, 98,863 persons belonging to 31,745 families had been resettled in the post-2009 period.This figure includes the IDPs and Indian returnees.

31,037 Tamil families, 610 Muslim families and 98 Sinhala families are included in this number.
