127 Jaffna Protesters remanded in Anuradhapura prison

127 of the people arrested on Wednesday have been ordered to be remanded in the Anuradhapura prison.

It could be remembered that political prisoners who revolted within Vavuniya prison were transferred to Anuradhapura Prison , inhumanly assaulted  within the prison and subsequently  03 succumbed to their wounds.

An Indian citizen was also among the arrested in a way proving how arbitrary was the arrests.

The  detention orders of the three accused initially arrested were extended  and the main suspect Swizz Kumar was remanded.
