Former NPC Minister Dr, Sathiyalingam elected as the General Secretary of the Tamil Arasukkadchchi

Former Minister of Health of the NPC, Dr. P.Sathiyalingam has been elected as the General Secretary of the Tamil Arasuk Kadchchi.

Following the resignation of former Agricultural Minister of Eastern PC, K.Thurairajasingam who was operating as the Secretary General of ITAK, the post remained vacant.

It was intended to appoint either P. Sathiyalingam or M.A. Sumanthiran who were functioning as the Vice Presidents, to the post of the General Secretary. Accordingly, P.Sathiyalingam has been appointed as General Secretary of the Party, until the General Body will appoint a General Secretary.
