33rd Commemoration of Jaffna Hospital Staff massacred by IPKF

Homage was paid  yesterday to officers massacred by IPKF at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital.

The IPKF broke into the Jaffna Teaching Hospital in 1987 and massacred 21 persons including Doctors, Nurses and other medical staff.

33^rd commemoration was observed in JTH yesterday.

The Director of JTH, Dr. T.Sathiyamoorthy lighted the general Memorial flame and paid his homage.

Persons including the Director, Deputy Director, Hospital staff and the relatives of the massacred participated in the event.
