Ready to contest as TNA candidate, only if the leadership of TNA Changes, says the CM
When the term of office the Chief Minister comes to an end, I will pay attention on Tamil Peoples Council, said CM, C.V. Wigneswaran.
If the current leadership will go, TNA registered and a new Leadership comes in, I may consider contesting as the TNA’s CM candidate. The current predicament of the NPC is due to some people without morality. Leaving aside political parties, I expect to rally people, identifying the needs, aspirations likes and un-likes and have to inform the world and the Government about them. I will do what is possible to me in this regard. He said these in an exclusive interview to a Tamil Media based in Colombo.
When asked whether there is a chance of a meeting between him and Sampanthan, he had said that he is ever ready to meet him as there were no disputes with him.
A hand book on the achievements of the NPC will be published soon and everybody could find out about achievements of NPC from them, he said.
