While saying that, We are paying serious attention to solving the problem of the North, in Jaffna yesterday he also said that those who wish to split the country could Mahindha’s faction.

He said so while participating in an event held yesterday at the Weerasingam Hall, Jaffna.

Elaborating further he said that the Government is under taking activities to find the solution to the problem of the North. It is paying important attention on solving the problems of the Northern people. While we are taking action to solve National problem through the new constitution, the Mahindha faction is misleading the people saying that we are to split the country.

We have ensured democracy in the country. All actions are being to establish reconciliation. Our objective is to create excellent goodwill between Tamil and Sinhala people, he said.
