Jaffna – Chennai Air Service commence yesterday – Governor travels in the inaugural flight

The inaugural Air Service from Jaffna International Air Port took off yesterday. After religious worships, the flight took off. Northern Governor Suren Ragavan traveled in the first flight from Jaffna Air Port to Chennai in the Indian Air Lines flight No: AL9 102.

It is expected to create new relationship and contacts between the two countries through this Air Port, he said during the flight.
