It will be difficult for TNA to get 16 seats this time: Sitharththan MP

Although it is a question mark , whether the TNA will get 16 seat like in earlier time, it may get most number of seats, TNA MP, T.Sitharththan expressed hope and also said that the entry of alternate faction will affect the TNA.

He said this to the media during a media meeting after the PLOT Central Committee meeting held in Vavuniya yesterday.

When an alternate faction is formed that will affect the TNA. When competition is high the impact will be also high. An opinion was put out that parties with general consensus should be taken in. I am not sure as to how far it will be possible. The split has widened. There is more possibility of contesting in two or three factions.

People will have to decide. We hope that vote rate of TNA will be higher. TNA will get the most number of Seats. Although, it is a question mark whether the TNA will get 16 seats, the TNA has a thought of making  all attempts to get that number. Although it is not possible to predict  how the advantages and disadvantages will change, we are confident that we will get considerable amount of seats , he said.
