Major General Jagath Dias, accused of war crimes recommended in list for Chief of Staff

It is reliably understood that the name of Major General Jagath Dias who is accused of war crimes and Mjor General Sumith Manawadu who arrested Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka are in a list of six recommended by the Army Commander for the post of Chief of Staff of the Army.

The other four are, Major Generals, Janaka Rathnayake, Milinda Peries, Lalith Thavulagala, Jegath Rambukpotha.
