Seat distribution among constituent parties of TNA ends cordially

The final agreement in distribution of parliamentary seats  among the constituent Parties of TNA has been reached yesterday.

In a context where uncertainty prevailing in the last two in the Coordinating Committee Meetings, an agreement has been reached in the Coordinating Committee meeting held yesterday.

As per yesterdays agreement, in Jaffna District

ITAK -07, PLOTE -02, and TELO –01 will be nominated

In Vanni District

ITAK -04 , TELO – 03 and PLOT – 02 will be nominated.

In Baticaloa District

ITAK – 05, TELO – 02 and PLOT – 01 will be nominated.

As shortages exist for candidates within all three parties in Trincomalee and Ampara Districts, it was decided that the parties will recommend candidates available with them.
