‘Genocide Remembrance Week’ began in Mullivaikal

Mullivaikal genocide remembrance week began today in Kappalady, the coastal area of Mullivaikal. Mourners lit  a flame of remembrance in memory of the dead.

Northern Provincial Council members MK. Sivajilingam, T. Raviharan, Deputy Leader of the House Antony Jeganathan, Former NPC member Mary Kamala Gunaseelan and many others attended the event.

Meanwhile,  Jaffna University students also commemorated the Mullivaikal genocide today  in  a specially arranged place at the University.
