Supreme Court deters arrest of ex Defence Secretary

Supreme Court today allowed an application for an interim order deterring the arrest of ex defence secretary Gotabhaya Rajapakse during the pendency of his fundamental rights application.

Earlier, he has filed an application against the FCID and his arrest. The Bench comprised Justice Eva Wanasundara and Justice Sisira de Abrew.
