Distribution of lands in North and East to Sinhalese of other Districts should be prevented, says  Wigneswaran

The Leader of the Tamil Makkal Koottanii and MP, C.V.Wigneswaran has said that the distribution of lands in North and East to Sinhalese people of other district should be prevented. He further said the we have formed a group of Attornry at Laws (AALs) for this purpose.

He said this while speaking to the gathering after opening the Public Relation office of the Koottani located at Thirunelvely in Jaffna.

I have planned for a discussion in Mulaitheevu regarding land robbing and zoom conference in Jaffna.

Our lands are being robbed at a very high speed. Sand mining, tree felling and robbing of resources are done in North and East with the blessing of the Ruling faction. Adequate awareness should be imparted to the people to prevent this.

We should file cases. Even if we lose in the cases the judgments on them will demonstrate the situation here to the International Community. We should some or the other prevent this. if they say the Army could stay in these lands, they will bring the families of Army men and then will give them votes, he said.
