Courts make interim injunction against removal of JMC members from the ACTC

The Jaffna Courts has made an interim injunction against the decision to remove Densy and Tharsiba from the All Ceylon Tamil Congress(ACTC).

The ACTC had removed Densy and Tharsiba saying they were supporters of Manivannan.

Although, many people within the party had pointed out that in a context of women representation is less in politics, why should these members should be removed for the whims and fancies of an individual person, the party had adamantly removed them.

In this context, the two members who were removed from the party filed a case against their removal. AAL Rishikesan appeared for them in the court.

The court has issued an interim  injunction prohibiting the removal for 14 days.

The case will be called on 24^th for hearing.
