Ootukulam in Nedunkerny breached- Several acres of paddy lands damaged

Several acres of paddy lands were damaged as the Ootukulam in Vavuniya being breached. This tank has been breached as the water intake to the tank was increased due the heavy rains received in the Vavuniya District.

Because of this breach several acre lands in the area were rendered damaged.

This matter has  been reported to the Agricultural Department of Vavuniya.
