Elilan surrendered to the Army as per the direction of Kanimoly: Ananthy wife of Elilan

Ananthy Sasitharan, the wife of Elilan alias Sasitharan , the LTTE’s political leader of Trincomalee and currently a member of NPC, said Elilan surrendered to the Army as per directions received from Kanimoly the daughter of Karunanithy, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

She was giving testimony at the Mulaitheevu courts yesterday while saying this. She also said that she personally witnessed phosphorus bombs being  dropped on the so called “No fire Zones” and that she was directly affected by it and was having breathing problems  for more than 4 months after the attack.

The Lawyers appearing for the Army rejected her testimony and asked her whether she know that her husband is an armed combatant of the LTTE, she replied the he was a political leader.
