Suresh responds to charges against TNA parliamentarians

Tamil National Alliance Parliamentarian Suresh Premachandran has observed that the TNA Parliamentarians have sought assistance from the government publicly and officially, not secretly, to address the needs of the people in their constituencies.

He also pointed out that such moneys are channelled to the beneficiaries not directly by them but through the Government Agents.

He said that it was really unfair for any one be it Chief Minister Wigneswaran or political opponents to construe such efforts as causing a drift in the party.

He was responding to charges directed allegedly by Wigneswaran and political opponents of TNA. He made the observations at a meeting of the media in Neervely yesterday.

In his address, Suresh Premachnadran emphatically stated that the TNA Parliamentarians have not been bought over by the government nor have they betrayed the party or the cause. We have been in politics long enough and proved our mettle.
