The number of MPs of Jaffna District should not go below 09 : Samapanthan

TNA president Sampanthan said that the number of MP in Jaffna District should not go below 09 and this condition should prevail for the next 20 years. More than 70% of the seats are assured for Sinhala people with 70% population. Same rate should prevail for Tamil people he said.

He also said that this should be embodied in the 20th amendment.  The chairman of the Election reorganization group, Dinesh Goonnewardene and Athuraliya Rathna thero had accepted this position.
