11 Grama Sevakas who worked in areas under LTTE control send for rehabilitation

11 Gramasevakas who worked Kilinochchi and Jaffna Districts were sent to rehabilitation camp at Poonthottam for rehabilitation.

Women including a young mother are in this 11 people. It had been reported that they had been sent there for a security report on them.

They sent there citing them having links with the LTTE, said ex-MP, Sritharan.He further said that they had been sent there without any court order but on an order from the Secretary of the Defense Ministry.

It not known whether they will be taken back to service after the rehabilitation training, he said.
