Vinayagamoorthy Muraleetharan alias Karuna left out of National lists of UNP,UPFA

In a notable ommission Karuna alias Vinaya moorthy Muraleetharan had been left out of the National list of both, the UNP and the UPFA.

He entered parliament last time as a National list MP of UPFA and was appointed as a deputy Minister.

Following are some names suggested for National lists of main parties:

UPFA: Fowsi,Proff. Peiries, Tissa Athanayake, Prapa Ganesan, Prof. Rajiva Wijesinghe.

UNP  alliance: Karu Jayasooriya, D.M.Swaminathan,  Nizam Kariyappar,  K,Velautham, Hasan Ali,  M.K.D.S.Goonewardene, Sobitha thero, Athuraliya Ratne Thero.

However, Pillaiyan said that out of the 5 seats offered for Tamil candidates, one was offered to Karuna, but he had declined it.
