President, Chandrika, Sampanthan meet the displaced in Sampoor

President Maithripala Sirisena met the displaced people in Sampoor today, August, 22. He held discussions with the  people . Actions are being taken to issue relevant documents pertaining to the lands released.

Former President and Chairperson of the Task Force for National Reconciliation Chandrika Bandaraniake Kumaratunge accompanied President Sirisena.

Eastern Province Governor Austin Feranndo, Tamil National Alliance Leader R.Sampanthan, Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Leader Rauff Hakeem, Parliamentarian Gunawardena, Provincial Councilors and others were present.
