Political prisoners recommence fast in Batti Prison

Ten political prisoners in Batticaloa Prison recommenced the fast which they suspended following an assurance for their release on November 7 by President Maithripala Siirsena conveued through TNA Leader R.Sampanthan.

They state that they have commenced fast since the promise has not been honoured by the government.
