TNA is accountable for political prisoner’s today’s plight :Sulakshan

A released Tamil political prisoner Veerasingam Sulakshan has stated that the Tamil National Alliance is accountable for today’s poor plight of the Tamil political prisoners.

He made this observation while addressing the media at the Jaffna Press Club yesterday. He is one among those,  who have been released from prison, following an assurance given to Sampanthan by the President.

He went on that the Tamil political prisoners gave up the fast on the last occasion on an assurance given by Tamil National Alliance Leader R.Sampanthan that President has given a promise but now that promise has not been honored.
