Wigneswaran a pawn in invisible hands to thwart political solution: Ariyanendran

Tamil National Allaince former parliamentarian B. Ariyanendran has stated that Northern Province Chief Minister Wigneswaran has fallen a prey to strategies of certain mischievous elements to thwart the political solution that is being worked out by Tamil National Alliance led by Sampanthan. Such associations can only weaken the unity that Tamil people endorsed.

Speaking to TNA supporters in Batticaloa, he stated an honest politician like Wigneswaran is being misled in the way Karuna was misled to betray a cause.

Ariyanendran went on that during the last sixty five years it has been our experience that on each occasion there had been a political climate conducive for a political solution, the unity of the party leadership had been shattered. The mischief makers gave various excuses to justify their betrayal. The formation of the Tamil People’s Council overnight and with secrecy shrouded while a political solution appears to be in sight is another such occasion. It is deplorable.
