29th Anniversary of Kokkaddichcholai Massacre commemorated yesterday
The 29th anniversary of the Kokkaddichcholai Massacre was commemorated sentimentally yesterday. Organized by the TNA, this event was held at the Kokkddichholai Cultural hall presided by former MP, Ariyanendran.
The TNA MPs,N.Srinesan,S.Viyalenthiran, S.Yogeswaran, N.Sritharan, former MS and EPC member sand a large number of people participated in this commemoration. ” The Flame of Sacrifice” was lighted and the relatives paid floral tributes.
More than 100 people who were working in the Prawn farm in Kokaddichcholai were shot dead. More than 100 people working in this prawn Farm located between Mamunai thurai and Mahiladytheevu were murdered it was declared and several human Rights Organization had condemned this dastardly act.
