Tamil people expelled from Navatkuly land belonging to National Housing Authority

Tamil people who were living in the land belonging to National housing Authority were expelled from the land saying that t is allocated for STF. But the Sinhalese people who also had encroached the housing Authority’s land were not expelled. Earlier the STF had requested 5 acre land for their use and the President had granted their requests.

The STF came in and pulled the sheds put up by the Tamil people and the Police came asked them to vacate the land.
