67,427 Acre lands under the Army, only 3.6 % released to hoodwink International Community

British Tamil Forum had said the new government here also cheating the International community with regard to releasing lands of the people.

69,992 acre land were captured by the military from Tamil people during the war. They have released a total of only 2,565.5 acre were released so far which is around 3.6%  of the Total.

The British Tamils Forum (BTF) had requested the British Government to exert pressure on the GOSL to take action to remove the army from Tamil areas and handover lands to the people on the basis of the UN resolution and the promises made by GOSL.
