I do not remember what I said regarding Lalith and Kugan: says Keheliya Rambukwelle in Jaffna Courts

” I  do not remember saying that Lalith and Kugan are alive. If I had said so I would have done so as per the information given to me by the Ministry of Defence.” said former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella in the Jaffne Court, while testifying in the case of Lalith and Kugan who had been abducted and had gone missing.

The writ of mandamus on Lalith and Kugan was taken up before Jaffna Magistrate, C. Satheestharan.

A former Minister and the former Cabinet Spokesman and an MP mow, Keheliya Rambukwella, was called as the 4th witness in the above case. He told a press conference earlier on 2011.12.15, that, both Lalith and Kugan are alive. But at the court, he claimed that he cannot remember saying that and on several occasions during his testimony he used either “Cannot remember” or “said so according to information supplied by Defence and other Ministries.”
