We want justice for the massacre of 17 employees of ACTION FAIM, the relatives demand

In the context of the 10th Commemoration of the 17 employees of the Action Faim organization massacred by the Sri Lankan Army being held yesterday, the relatives demanded justice for their murdered kin.

17 employees of Action Faim, including 4 women were massacred by Sri Lankan Army, within their office. During the commemoration the relatives expressed concern over the perpetrators of the crime being not arrested or brought before the law.

This massacre which had occurred during Mahindha regime created waves of shock and condemnation abroad.

International Human rights organizations  including the International amnesty and Human Rights Watch had demanded and demanding to date that the Sri Lankan Government shout account for these murders.

The Presidential Commission led by Retd. Judge, Nisanka Udalagama exonerated army and caste suspicion  on Muslim Home Guards.But the French NGO announced that posses enough evidence to show that he Army had committed this crime and insisted on an International Investigation.
