Paravipanchchan people continue their struggle for 3rd day on their cooking and eating on the road

Paravipanchan people who commenced a sit-in protest in front of the Army camp at Paravipanchan started cooking their meals at the site of their sit-in to prevent being fatigued by the protest.

These people went to Paravipanchchan Army camp commenced their struggle demanding the Army get out of their lands. The struggle is being continued day and night.The people said that the Army is switching off the lights in the night for bullying them into giving up their struggle.

Meanwhile media men had complained at the Kilinochchi police that they were threatened by the Army when they went collect news and photograph the protesters.

The people earlier gave up their protest on promise by the District Secretary that the Army will release 4acre, but the lands were not released as promised and the people had got into their struggle again.
