This Government which has no concern about people’s welfare, also should be changed, JVP Leader in Jaffna

`People living in several villages do not have enough drinking water. Several in difficulties in finding clean drinking water. Several people are suffering without adequate food to eat. The Government is turning a ‘Nelsonian’ eye on these problems and not doing anything.

A public seminar with a theme of “Future of the Country and the Duty of the Leftists” was held yesterday at Kuberan Plaza Hall at Chankanai in Jaffna, yesterday from 11.15 a.m., presided by the Leader, Anurakumara Dissanayake.

The Jaffna District Orgnizer of the party, and former MP, Ramalingam Chandrasekar, Molai area Organizer of the party, S.Paramalingam, Kilinochch District Organizer, Sinnaththurai Rajendram, Former chairman of Vali-West PS, N.Thiriloganathan, and Northern Branch Leader of the Electricity Board Trade Union, Comrade Illankumaran participated in this seminar.

How could we expect democracy in a Capitalist Government. All what we earn are robbed by a small group in power. Children of Mahinthas and Bandula Gunawardene studied abroad. All except Mahindha, in Mahindha’s government are in the present Government. Hence, How can we expect justice from this Government, he further said.
