Granting 2 years’ time to Sri Lanka, Attention drawing demonstrations in North and East

An attention drawing demonstration was held by the people of the North and East condemning the granting of 2 years’ time to Sri Lanka, by UN and insisting International Investigation against war crimes, to from 9.30 a.m.

In the context of the sessions of the UNHRC in progress in Geneva, this demonstration was held.

Thus the demonstrations were  held in front of the respective Central Bus stands of Jaffna and Mannar Districts, at the spot where the relatives of missing persons engaging in their struggle in Kilinochchi and Vavuniya Districts, at the spot where Kepapulavu people are undertaking their struggle in Mulaitheevu District and in front of the respective Human Rights offices in the Eastern Province.
