We are not satisfied with the actions of the Government, Sampanthan express grief in Trincomalee
This Government has not released adequate lands of our people; Exclusion in providing employment opportunities; and no conclusive decisions to the problem of missing persons. So, our people have started to struggle through non-violent means for their rights, said Era Sampanthan the Leader of the TNA.
Participating as the Chief Guest in the 47th Annual celebrations of the Trincomalee, Selvanayagapuram Hindu Maha Vidyalayam, and he said as above while addressing the gathering.
Elaborating further he said,” Our graduates are engaged in a massive struggle. That is a just struggle. Our people are struggling for their lands. Our people are struggling to find out about their missing loved ones. A full stop should be put to all these.
We all want to adopt a new constitution. If it is adopted there will be lot of development in the educational sector. There are good chances that more powers will be granted.”, he said.
