Call for a Combined commemoration under the aegis of Northern Provincial Council by CM
We all should get together and observe a united Muliwaikkal Commemoration. All should participate in it without any party discrimination, NPC CM, C.V.Wigneswaran has put out a call.
By remembering our people who were un-justly massacred together we will be creating a ‘de pro fundis’. The praying together for souls of the killed people, to rest in peace, will bring together the hearts of the Tamil people here and abroad. Only the unity of our people will make the rulers to lend their ears to our demands.
Our people should participate in the Muliwaikkal Commemoration organized by the Northern Provincial Council without any party, religious , race , class, wealthy or poor discrimination, the Chief Minister C.V.Wigneswaran.
CM’s call comes in the wake of the TNPF announcing that it will hold a separate commemoration if the Tamil people Council will not take charge of the Commemoration.
He has also called for all people to pay a 3 minutes Silent tribute to the memory of the killed people at 9.30 a.m. on 18th exactly at which time the tribute will be paid at Muliwaikkal.
