Muslim community of the North say services of Wigneswaran should continue in North

The Services of C.V.Wigneswaran who is a great man with justice and fairness should continue for people to live with unity, the Northern Muslim Community has said.

A good will meeting was held between the CM, NPC and the administrators of the mosques in the North led by Moulavi Assis Casimmy was held at the Muhamediya Mosque in Jaffna.

Expressing their views in the meeting the representatives said that if the NPC is to operate with efficiency NPC CM, C.V.Wigneswaran should extend his services further.

The political splits recently are most unfortunate. If the problems are political let the politicians solve them. As Communities, all people of different religions have live united. For that only Wigneswaran who is a just man should continue to serve in the North. If unity is to be created among all communities of the North, the just approach of the CM should be lesson to all.

Commenting on the meetings afterwards, the CM said that in the last few days we were having consultations with Hindu and Christian religious leaders. Likewise there existed a need for meeting the Muslim Community.  On that basis we had a meeting with the Muslim Community.

It is usual to seek the good-will ideas of the Religious leaders whenever a conflict crop up.

In that way they have promised to give their Support, not personally but for the NPC to sustain, he said.
