CM calls for explanation from the District Secretary: Why I was not invited for Myliddy release ?

The Myliddy pier was released after 27 years of being under the control of the Army on the 3rd of July. The CM, C.V.Wigneswaran has sent a letter calling for explanation from the District Secretary as why he was not invited for the above release of Myliddy pier.

Land affairs are under my purview and  why I was not invited for the land released, the CM has asked  the District Secretary to submit his explanations for not inviting him from the District Secretary. Although one anti- CM news paper published in the North had tried to justify this by saying that neither Army nor the District Secretariat had not invited any politicians, the same News paper published news giving prominence to the presence of TNA MP, Sumanthiran and MPc, Arnold at the event.

Further the CM has called for explanation of the District Secretary as to why he was not invited for the discussion on the problems of the Muslim people held at the District Secretariat on last Sunday.

However, another neutral analyst commented that these acts reflect an attempt by Government Officials to run a shadow government overshadowing the rule of the Provincial council.
