Books of poems of TPP Sathees written from the prison released: Attention drawing at the end of event
Two books of poems “ Vidiyalai Thedum Iravukal” ( Nights that search for dawns) and “Siraiyilirunthu Sinhala Sahotharanukku” (A letter to the Sinhala Brother from jail) of a Tamil Political Prisoner (TPP) and Poet, Vivekananthanoor Sathees was released yesterday in an event presided by Senior Writer, Inuwaiyoor Thiruchchenthinathan.
This event organized by “Ezhu Kalai Elakkiya Pervai” was held at the Ilankai Venthan Hall.
The Mother of Sathees who is currently held in Prison released the first copies and the Director, Jaffna Teaching Hospital, Dr.T.Sathiyamoorthy received them.
Several people including writers, literature enthusiasts and well wishers participated in this event.
It is notable that, at the end this event, an attention drawing demonstration was held outside the hall, with literature enthusiasts, writers, journalists and public participating in it.
