Vote for suitable persons without considering party affiliations, calls the CM

The CM,NPC, C.V. Wigneswaran said yesterday that the youth should vote for suitable persons without considering party affiliations. He should be a person with inherent love for your area.  His qualifications shall be honesty and excellence. He should hate corruption and love people.

Similar to how you have made the CM to remain established up to now by your uprising, the time is drawing closer to evolve the uprising into People’s movement and show it to the government. Hence, wait in anticipation of your time. The CM visited yesterday the Jaffna Press Club and answered questions of the Media.

The TNA should contest on the Election Manifest of 2013. It is appropriate that we contest on the same policies which gave us massive victory last time. No one should forget that the constituents parties of the TNA jointly prepared manifesto although they conflicted among themselves. Tamil Home Land, Merger of North & East, Internal self determination and Federal system were insisted in that Manifesto.

Youths hate coming into politics after observing the conduct of the politicians. That is the reality. Honest and excellent people are stepping aside thinking that they have no place in politics.

Commenting on being depicted by southerners as a ‘hard liner’, he said, I have not said anything to local people or foreign countries anything beyond the Manifesto. Do they think that ‘soft line’ is doing anything ordered by the south? I could do just that, but, our race will be swallowed soon by the southerners

Asked about the confusion among the Tamil Parties, he said that, wherever the Tamils are, they are one family. Tamil is our mother. But their inherent morality is not to seek unity. Knowledge will create conflict. Only love will unite us.
