We will not join UNP to form the Government, says Sampanthan

The Leader of the TNA, Era Sampanthan said that they will not engage in activities to form the government with the UNP.

After the crisis situation in the coalition government grape wines were filled with rumours that the UNP is to form the government with the support of the TNA.

 The TNA leader expressing his opinion regarding the above news had said as above.

Elaborating further, he said, ” No one has approached us for talks on forming the government so far. If somebody approach us we will take a decision on it. People have given a clear message against the present Government. We have to respect mandate.

 Meanwhile, the spokesman for TNA Sumanthiran had said that, notwithstanding which party will come to power in the south, we will continue to struggle to fulfil the promises given to Tamil people and to secure a solution acceptable to all.
