Tamil People are depending on the International Community: says Rev. Fr. Emmanuel

Leader of the Global Tamil Forum, Rev.Fr. Emmanuel said that in a context where the initiatives with the Sri Lankan Government has failed, the only hope for the Tamil people is the International Community. But some people here are criticizing the International Community without knowing their composition and power. It is a wrong approach he said.

He said this while participating and addressing the gathering at an event held in Nallur yesterday. The TNA MP and Spokesman M.A Sumanthiran, who also spoke in the event said that the message regarding what could the International Community do has not reached clearly the Tamil people. Sri Lanka could not be charged in the International Criminal Court. This is a truth known to all. Even America will not do it, he further said. Meanwhile the Leader of ITAK Mawai Senathyrasa said that, the need for the Tamil- Muslim Leaders work together has strengthened more.
