It is better to stand alone than forming government with traitors, Says Manivannan, TNPF

Forming Government with the same people, whom we have identified as betraying Tamil people on the election platforms, will make what we said as false. Rather than that, it is better to stay alone. That is the reason for not expecting support from anyone, said the National Organizer of TPNP, V.Manivannan.

Just because we have not formed any government in any PS, it does not mean that we don’t like forming government or we don’t know how to form government. TNPF does not want think Tamil people as herds.

He said these in a media meeting at the Jaffna Press Club regarding contemporary situation after the LG Elections.

We identified several factions to people and told them that these factions are betraying the Tamil people. Forming alliance with those faction will not only amounts to a betrayal of Tamil people, but also make everything we said about them false. If we wanted we could have formed the government with the help of other people like the TNA.

We firmly believe that the Tamil people will give us a better opportunity. Further, we were able to bring out real faces of many people, he said.
