People’s lands to be acquired for extension of Palaly Air Port, Notice issued by Thelipallai Div. Sec

A notice regarding acquisition lands for the extension of Palaly Airport had been issued by the Vali-North Divisional Secretary. The notice regarding this had been pasted at the Kadduvan Junction.

Lands are to be acquired in accordance with the Gazette No. 465/14 published on 07.08.1987, under section 38(A) of the Acquisition of Lands for the Extension of Palaly Air Port Act. The owners of the lands in Grama Officers Divisions, J/240 – Thenmayilai, Myliddy South, J/246 – Myliddy South, J/256 – Palaly West, J/252 – Palaly South, and J/242 Kurumabasiddy had requested to contact the Land Branch of the Thelipallai Divisional Secretariat and register themselves. It is also announced that some parts inside the Army fence, along Myliddy – Kadduvan Road may be released but the balance portion will be acquired.
