Maithri vexed by Mahinda’s palace at Kankesanthurai

Sri Lankan President Maithri who made an unannounced visit to the Palace built at Kankesanthurai for use of Mahinda was highly vexed so much by the luxury of it, he immediately turned away from it ordering his officials to submit him, details and Photographs of it.

It was understood that, the land on which the palace stands belong to former External Affairs Minister Luxman Kadirkamar and one woman called Gowry, a member of Hindu Religious Organization and was built at a cost of 2 Billion rupees.

Several hundred Army soldiers were seen engaged in maintenance of the Palace.
