If we split up, we will destroy our people, rebukes Sampanthan

In view of the current political situation in the country we should shed our differences and act united. Instead, if we stand separate and act, we will be only destroying our people, rebuked the Leader of the opposition and TNA Sampanthan yesterday.

A collection of speeches made by the NPC, CM, Justice C.V.Wigneswaran , “Neethiyarasar Pesukirar” ( Justice speaking) was released yesterday at Weerasingam Hall, Jaffna.

The Leader of the Opposition Participated as the Honour Guest and said as above while delivering his chief Guest’s Address, at the event.

The Sri Lankan Government which promised the International countries (mainly 5 countries) which destroyed the Liberation Tigers, to give solutions to Tamil people is back dragging on its promises. The International Countries has the righteous obligation to deliver solutions to Tamil people.

Pointing out that the Elections of 2015 had proved that Tamil people have the power to decide as to who should rule the country. Tamil people had act united if they want to win their rights.

Answering a question of the media as to the CM candidate, he said that it not necessary to debate about that now. We will take a decision in unity at the due time.

Regarding Mahindha’s endeavours to negotiate with TNA, he said that Mahindha neglected all our approaches while he was in power. If he had corrected himself and speak, we are prepared to speak to him, he said.
