I quitted TNA as people’s needs could not be fulfilled from there , Says Kanes Velayutham , Former TELO Central Committee member

I got out of TNA after clearly understanding that the requirements  of the Tamil People cannot be fulfilled by remaining in the TNA, said  a member of the Central Committee of TELO, Kanes Velayutham.

He announced his decision to resign from TELO and TNA, in a media conference at the Gran Grass Hotel, Jaffna.

I have informed the Secretary of TELO about resigning from the Party. I came to politics to serve the people.

But during the period I was in the TNA, I fully understood that no service could be done  to the people from there. Several lost in the JMC Election due to the activities of the TNA. I got out from the party as a change is needed, he said.

He also said that he will start a new political Party and contest the Provincial Council.
