Full Hartal today: North completely paralysed: Shops closed and transports stilled
The Northern province fully paralyzed today due to the Full Harthl struggle organized under the aegis of the Association for the Relatives of the persons made to disappear.
This Hartal had been called by the relatives of the Missing persons in view of the completion of 2 years of the struggle started started by them demanding justice for the missing persons and insisting that no time extension be granted to GOSL in the UNHRC.
Tamil, Muslim political parties and public Organizations had pledged their full support for this Hartal. S chools were closed down and no activities were undertaken in Government offices.
Yesterday the Tamil Diplomat published a number of Organizations which had pledged support. We publish below a further list of Organizations which had pledged support for this Harthal:
