Tamil should live for Tamil Nation to live, says Northern Governor

If Tamil Nation is to live, Tamil should live. We are people with  Tamil Identity. Therefore, as Bharathy said,  study other languages but have Tamil as the Mother, said Dr. Suren Ragavan , the Governor of Northern Province.

The inaugural event of the milk supplying to students  was held yesterday at the Holy Family Convent, Jaffna, yesterday, presided by the Governor. He said as above speaking in this event.

This programme is undertaken at a cost of 4 Billion Rupees. The programme is implemented  on an experimental basis in 5 schools of the North. This programme is being implemented to raise the nutrition level of primary students and the objective of the programme is to keep children with nutrition, health and resourceful, he said.
