Accusation on me is absurd: Wigneswaran expresses doubt on the stance of TNA on self determination

While stating that the accusations against him regarding Tamil People’s Council are absurd, NPC CM Wigneswaran said that he is still operating as TNA.

Earlier, few NPC members had submitted a letter calling the CM to meet them and give explanation on certain matters. Meeting NPC members yesterday evening, he had said as above, while speaking on the questions they had raised.

Pointing out that the term “Self Determination”  which was included in the 2013 Election Manifesto of the TNA had been deleted from the 2015 Manifesto, in his speech, the CM requested that the NPC Members should study the difference between the two manifestos.

He also accused in his speech that, the 2015 Manifesto was published without giving  him a chance to study it.

He further explained that he had been promised that the TPC will never operate as a political Party, it will never operate against any political party and its sole objective is to raise the voice for the rights and interest of Tamil people and working towards this end.

He also explained about the actions taken to make the NPC efficient.
